Safran leads TJV fleet

The Transat Jacques Vabre fleet should have the final weather hurdle behind them. Passing through the chain of West Indies islands early this morning, the stage is set for a final 1300 miles sprint across the Caribbean to the Transat Jacques Vabre finish off Puerto Limon, Costa Rica some time probably on Tuesday.

Increasingly it is looking like a duel to the finish between Safran and Groupe Bel with 47.2 miles separating them from their pursuing compatriots.
